This has triggered a lot of fans who have shared their own thoughts about Ai Ai’s criticism over the series below are some public tweets about the actress’ critique…
#aiaidelasalas, don't blame 'The King's' writer if your comprehension/critical thinking level is that low. Watch KDramas according to your own level of understanding. If you can't even decipher something as interesting as this one, stick to your boring and predictable storylines.

the second-hand embarrassment I have to go through while reading Ms. #AiAiDelasAlas (a COMEDIENNE based in PH with questionable works lol) rant regarding TKEM is just too much gosh. I mean, imagine comparing 2 dramas with completely different genres, criticizing the writer+ pic.twitter.com/pL0MehuPKI

You can voice out your opinion, it is your freedom but you don’t need to be too insensitive considering you are from entertainment industry. You should know better!!! #AiAi #AiAidelasalas

The audacity of Ms. #AiAiDelasAlas

The King requires wit. It does not only meant to entertain. If you are not the kind of person who is accustomed to observing, thinking and solving things, this is not for you. It requires higher order thinking skills for it to be understood. #TheKingEnternalMonarch #AiAiDelasAlas

There were also some who sought to give Delas Alas some advice over her comments on the series…
To Ms. Aiai, be like Sir Joey de Leon pag manunuod ng TKEM. Be attentive sa dialogue. Pay attention sa story. You have to analyze the scenes kasi kahit konting detail possible clue na siya. This is not your typical predictable emotional kdrama. You have to use your brain. pic.twitter.com/ET6jKLuCXB

Maaaaaaaannnn, this was totally unexpected. I get her point of sharing her thoughts and I understand that fans will be fans. I know the feeling of being up-in-arms when somebody says negative things about the things I adore like how some critics just shit on Avengers: Endgame. Still, as a celebrity, I wish she had reworded some of her comments.
Such is life.
In a matter of days, this would all blow over.
