Elderitch Monsters Abound in first trailer for HBO’s Lovecraft Country

Check out the first trailer for the new series from HBO called Lovecraft Country produced by Get Out’s Jordan Peele and J.J. Abrams.

The series is based on the novel Mark Ruff which was released 2016. Lovecraft Country follows “Atticus Black as he joins up with his friend Letitia and his Uncle George to embark on a road trip across 1950s Jim Crow America in search of his missing father. This begins a struggle to survive and overcome both the racist terrors of white America and the terrifying monsters that could be ripped from a Lovecraft paperback.”

The series will have Misha Green as showrunner and is coming soon. And knowing HBO, they will be hyping this up as it approaches and will most likely be available on HBO and HBO Go. And check out the cast below which includes Jurnee Smolett Bell aka Black Canary from Birds of Prey!
