Here’s a look at the official statement released by the Quezon City LGU over the sad shooting incident that happened yesterday at Baranggay Pasong Putik between a former Marawi soldier and the local police.
The man was identified as Winston Ragos, a former soldier who was apparently suffering from PTSD or Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. The gist of this was that Ragos was shot by police after showing signs of resistance during the ECQ or Extended Community Quarantine that has been running for more than a month already due to the threat of the COVID-19 pandemic around the world.
