Broken Matt Hardy Joins AEW

With his contract with the WWE done, Matt Hardy has officially made his presence felt in All Elite Wrestling aka AEW! And not only is he joining the upstart company, he also gets to bring back his Broken Matt Hardy persona in full regalia.

Hardy is seemingly allying himself with the stable known as the “Elite” which consists of pro-wrestlers like Cody Rhodes, Kenny Omega, Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson and a whole lot more. They are also currently embroiled in a feud with Chris Jericho and his “Inner Circle” stable. Watch the video of his debut below:

Hardy has been teasing his plans for moving away from the WWE after showing disatisfaction with the way the promotion is not using his “Broken Brilliance” / Broken Matt gimmick during his stay. The Broken Matt Hardy promo was perfected during his time in Impact Wrestling where he even had his brother Jeff Hardy join in as the Obsolete Jeff Hardy.

This may make things interesting for AEW fans and wrestling fans alike as we get to see Hardy flex his creative muscles with his promos and gimmicks. I would miss the Woken Matt gimmick a bit especially during his exceptional tag team run with the former WWE Champion Bray Wyatt aka The Fiend.
