Colin Farrel is the Penguin for Matt Reeves’ The Batman
A rather pixelated photo has surfaced online featuring what seems to be Colin Farrel as The Penguin for the upcoming “The Batman” movie.
Its been long rumored that the Planet of the Apes director wants Farrel badly in his new film which will star Robert Pattinson as the Dark Knight. They already started principal photography in London where they transformed a part of the city into Gotham City.
Keen eyed onlookers also managed to snap a photo of Robert Pattinson on a motorbike in his casual garb…
And now we also have Farrel as The Penguin…
He’s definitely a different version as the one made famous by Danny DeVito for Tim Burton’s Batman Returns and is more similar to the Penguin / Oswald Cobblepot from the FOX TV series Gotham. While the image is fuzzy we can definitely see that he’s got the umbrella and the overcoat down pat.
Also if you think that this isn’t confirmed yet, Reeves himself announced the casting on his Twitter…

By “Oz” he means Oswald Cobblepot of course…
The Batman stars Robert Pattinson, Zoe Kravitz, Paul Dano and Colin Farrel. It’s directed by Matt Reeves and will be distributed by Warner Bros Pictures.
