Mark Hamill is open to play Vesemir for Netflix The Witcher season 2

Star Wars actor Mark Hamill has shown interest in playing the role of veteran Witcher Vesemir for The Witcher season 2 from Netflix.

Even before the live action series was announced, people have already been asking him to play the grizzled old Witcher who plays father figure to both Geralt of Rivia and his “family” including partner Yennefer of Vengerberg and their adopted daughter Cirila or Ciri.

The character has appeared regularly in the books and the three Witcher games that have been produced so far. He has however yet to appear in the series which dropped a week or so ago in the streaming platform.

This sounds like a really good idea. Hopefully Netflix listens to the fans and we get Hamill as Vesemir.

Meanwhile The Witcher is now available and stars Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia, Anya Chalotra as Yennefer of Vengerberg and Freya Allan as Ciri.
