Top 5 Things to Expect from Pop Expo 2019 (And its not your regular convention too

Next weekend, Pop Expo 2019 will be hitting Eastwood City (on November 17 to be exact) and as I love you guys so much, let me give you aan unofficial guide to the event. Here are my Top 5 Things to Expect from Pop Expo 2019!

1. The Cosplay Crafting Talks by Kino and Gelo

Two of the best cosplay crafters will be doing an insightful talk for Pop Expo and that would be in the form of Kino Kaoru and Gelo Grayson. They’ve also been featured in mainstream media once or twice already; Kino for his impressive Thanos cosplay and Gelo for his Overwatch cosplay from a year or so ago. Seeing them talk about their passion as well as how they made a living from crafting costumes for customers should kickstart your creativity. Plus these gentlemen have a neat surprise or two during their time on stage.

2. The Batman 80th Anniversary Celebration

Also happy to report that the celebration for 80 years of Batman continues with Pop Expo 2019. I’m told that they would be displaying the Batmobile in Eastwood during the one day event which would be perfect for selfies and Instagram posts. Plus, there would be tons of displays featuring collections from notable collectors all on display during the event.

3. Big Boy Cheng

Big Boy Cheng will be making an appearance on Pop Expo 2019 and he’ll be talking about a lot of things but its going to be primarily about street wear and popculture. The man knows his stuff and has been an unsung hero for collectors and geeks alike. If you want to know more about growing your collection and all the trends (or how to spot future ones) then it would be a good idea to check out his talk onstage.

4. T-Shirt Silkscreen printing

I’ve been covering the geek convention seen for years and frankly this is the first time that I actually get my hands dirty for something that I would be using afterwards. In one of Pop Expo 2019’s experiential booths or areas, ticketholders would be able to print their own shirts using the silk screens plus designs available for them. So its like attending an convention where you get to buy the shirt AND make them yourself.

5. Giveaways
