Poison Ivy has a new Look in Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy # 2
Spoilers for Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy # 2 with Pamela Isley aka Poison Ivy officially getting a new look in her current team-up book with love Harley Quinn.
In the current issue written by Jody Houser and illustrated and inks by Adriana Melo and colors by Hi-Fi, we see the pair trying to become good guys after all the years becoming either villains or neutrals. Along the way, they encounter the villain known as the Floronic Man, who has assumed the role of the protector of the Green; a role that once belonged to Ivy and Swamp Thing.
While being bound by the villain, Ivy conjures blades on her arms which she uses to break free from her bindings. It’s then revealed that she’s wearing a brand new armor that looks more like Sara Pezzini’s armor from the comic book series Witchblade.
Now we still don’t know the full extent of this new armor or if its going to be a permanent new thing but I’d like to think that this is going to be the new norm while Ivy is still trying to be a hero. Maybe when the book is cancelled or ends and we get a new writer, this whole armored form for Poison Ivy will go away.
I hope it stays though.
