Meet the X-Men’s Suicide Squad in House of X # 3

This week’s House of X # 3 reveals the X-Men team that Cyclops assembles for his suicide mission against the Orchis humans creating the Mother Mold near the sun.

In the opening pages, we see Scott Summers in a conversation with Charles Xavier and Magneto…

This whole suicide mission isnt hammered further with the last dialogue about dying and being forgotten, a theme they examined too in Coco.

We then see Cyclops’ suicide squad assembled in the hangar…

And its A-grade team that Cyclops created for this Orchis mission which includes:

Wolverine
Marvel Girl
Nightcrawler
Mystique
Archangel
M
Husk

Its also revealed that they won’t be bringing a Krakoa flower for this mission in deep spa e because they don’t want to show the humans their hand when it comes to transportation. This effectively clips their wings to some extent because they won’t be able to leave the mission area other than through their Shi’ar scout ship.

And its also a nice touch to have the mission start from the Moon, which was showed as one of the Krakoa embassies shown in House of X # 1.
