Terry Crews Really, Really Wants to be King Triton in The Little Mermaid movie

Actor and all around good guy Terry Crews is going on social media to push his agenda. He really, really wants to play Ariel’s father, King Triton in Disney’s The Little Mermaid.

In his post on Facebook he writes:

He posted the caption together with the fan art that you saw above.

I would love to see Crews play the big softie with a broken heart who also plays an important role for Ariel, since she’s his favorite daughter. Crewe could bring a deadly serious King Triton too if the script needs it to be.

No word yet on the other cast members for the live action remake aside from the confirmed one with Halle Bailey as Ariel and the rumor that Melissa McCarthy would be Ursula.

Rob Marshall directs and is slated for release 2021.
