Home Credit Philippines wins again at 2019 Stevie Awards
Home Credit Philippines took home the bronze award at the 2019 Stevie Awards for Innovation in Community Relations or Public Service Communications. The annual Stevie Awards is a premier body that recognizes outstanding organizations that make positive contributions in the industry. This is the second time Home Credit has been recognized by the award-giving body, having won the Silver Award under the same category last year.
The company, which makes financing easier for its customers through its tech-driven products, has also been making great impact in financial literacy with its Juan, Two, Three Program, a three-year-old campaign that helps educate different communities about the basics of budgeting and saving. Financial literacy is the whole Home Credit Group’s global advocacy. The program, which has partnerships with civic and non-civic organizations, visits different locations all around the Philippines and reaches out to a diverse audience—from fishermen to its very own employees. It also uses creative approaches like games and comic books to educate.
Chief Marketing and Product Officer of Home Credit Philippines Franchette Cardona shared her excitement about the recognition. “Since we started, helping people understand money has always been very important for us. So this is really a victory for us and the communities we serve.”
