Grocery godsend Honestbee is apparently down with no definite date when it will return. But that may just be the symptom and not the actual disease. Here’s what’s public knowledge about the status of Honestbee.

• A lot of people assumed that the close was due to the Holy Week and surprised some users that the service was still down going into monday.
• The Twitter page offered some form of answer but it did not say when the service will return.

• There was a news report in Singapore (Honestbee’s HQ) that suggests that the company is currently having funding problems which led to laying off employees both in SG and in the Philippine office.
• Users who still have transactions with the company are currently being entertained or refunded.

Esquire recently caught a representative of HonestBee and they promised that they will return as soon as they sort out this problem.
