Mortal Kombat 11 Launch Trailer Brings the Good Stuff

NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has released the Mortal Kombat 11 Launch Trailer and that one definitely brought in all the good stuff!

it’s like that book Marvel churned out a year or so ago called “Generations” where the past iteration of a character finds themselves interacting with a previous version or a younger version of themselves. Only this time, its with Mortal Kombat characters. That means Johnny Cage meets his younger self and so on and so forth.

The thumbnail I posted above featuring the coolest MK ninjas Scorpion and Sub Zero will definitely encounter their younger selves as the story progresses. And who could forget Shao Khan. The boss from the first three MK games is also returning and he’s kicking major ass in the Mortal Kombat 11 launch trailer.

Enough rambling, click below to watch the insane trailer.

And here’s the description for the video that they released:

In the trailer, Kronika, the Keeper of Time, has signaled for a new era to begin as she tries to rewind time to its beginning and restart history. In order to restore balance to the realms, players must take on the role of numerous fighters from different eras, culminating in the ultimate generational clash as current characters collide with their past selves.

The launch trailer features both cinematic story moments coupled with crushing gameplay showcasing the growing roster of confirmed playable fighters in Mortal Kombat 11, including Scorpion, Raiden, Sub-Zero, Sonya Blade, Skarlet, Baraka, Geras, Kano, D’Vorah, Kabal, Jade, Johnny Cage, Cassie Cage, Erron Black, Jacqui Briggs, Kotal Kahn, Noob Saibot, Liu Kang, Kung Lao, Jax Briggs, Cetrion, The Kollector, Kitana, and Shao Kahn.

It looks like I would be picking up this game too. So far, its been announced that the game will be available for the current generation consoles namely Playstation 4, Xbox One, PC and Switch and is scheduled for release tomorrow, April 23!
