An Afternoon with Jason Magbanua for Uniqlo’s AIRisms

Uniqlo recently held a special afternoon session with Jason Magbanua, the country’s top wedding videographer where he recounts his past as well as share some tips on how to have great videos using either your camera or mobile phones.

Magbanua was very candid during his time on stage. He spoke about how he started out in the wedding videography business with his first paycheck around Php5,000 and how it evolved and expanded to what it is now. He also talked about how he conducts business and he treats his work and weddings in general.

One of the things I found inspiring during his talk was how he deals with failure and rejection. I’d like to quote him on that too.

In between his experiences with wedding videos and the history of SDEs or “Same Day Edits”, he talked about how important it is to look good during coverage. To him, this was business and this was work and so that meant he had to look his best even if his involvement is purely on the production side of things. This is where he talks about his collaboration with Uniqlo and his experience with the new AIRism clothing line for the 2019 Summer/Spring collection.
