LEGION Season 3 will be the last for David Haller
The FOX series LEGION was an amazing run. Dan Stevens was an awesome David Haller but his time being the conflicted yet powerful mutant is coming to a close as FOX has announced that the third season will be the last.
Legion is based on the Marvel Comics created by Chris Claremont and Bill Sienkiewicz. The show follows David Haller (Dan Stevens), “a man who believed himself to be schizophrenic only to discover that he may actually be the most powerful mutant the world has ever seen.”
FX president John Landgraf made the announcement during the TCA Winter 2019 Press Tour, and that’s where he confirmed that series will have the natural conclusion that was always intended.
FX also released an official statement about the closing of Legion:
Legion has redefined the superhero drama and exceeded all expectations as the intensity and revelation build through the second season. We are incredibly proud of Noah Hawley’s achievement and are honored to continue the series as it pushes the boundaries of conventional television storytelling. We are also grateful for the contributions of our executive producers, John Cameron, Lauren Shuler Donner, Simon Kinberg, and Jeph Loeb with Marvel Television, as well as our outstanding cast and crew of this groundbreaking show.
