Xiaomi Redmi Go Coming to the PH for only PHP3990
Xiaomi recently debuted their first entry for the Android Go series and it’s called the Redmi Go. The best news? It’s so affordable, being priced at just Php3990.
If you’re unfamiliar with the Android Go concept, this was a program that was started by Google in 2017 which features smartphones working on “highly efficient versions” of Android. And for the Redmi Go, that’s really the case as it features an Android 8.1 Oreo OS together with various Google apps with reduced storage and data demands.
Steven Shi, Xiaomi’s Head of Southeast Asia, has this to say:
Xiaomi has received such a warm welcome in the Philippines since its re-entry last year, and we are really grateful to all Mi fans for their support. With Redmi Go making its global debut here, we hope that even more users here will be able to enjoy an amazing smartphone experience at an amazing price. This is part of our commitment to make innovation available to everyone.
The Redmi Go will feature the following:
- 5.0-inch HD display
- Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 425 SoC
- 3000mAh battery
- 8MP main camera supported by an LED flashlight
- 5MP camera for selfies.
- 2 SIM card slots
- microSD slot for up to 128 microSD cards
- Variant colors are Black and Blue
- 8GB storage capacity
You can pre-order the smartphone from Lazada as early as now and until February 3. If you’re one of the first 200 customers, you also receive a free pair of earphones.
