Riot Games Teams up with Marvel in an Official League of Legends Ashe Story

Ashe, one of League of Legends original 40 champions, will be getting her own comic book thanks to a new partnership formed between Riot Games and Marvel. The book will be titled LEAGUE OF LEGENDS: ASHE: WARMOTHER and will “follow the journey of one of the original League of Legends champions, the Iceborn warrior Ashe, who struggles with her role as a leader for her people in the world of Runeterra and her mother’s fanatical expectations.”

This collaboration will turn into a full-on graphic novel which will be written by Riot Games writer Odin Austin Shafer with artwork by Nina Vakueva (HEAVY VINYL), a nominee for The Russ Manning Most Promising Newcomer Award.

You can start reading Ashe’s story on December 2019, which you can download digitally. If you’re looking for a physical copy though, you have to wait until May 2019. This will be the release month for the collected edition. You’ll probably get some bonus content too.
