The Doom Patrol is Coming to Titans in Episode 4 teaser

The Doom Patrol is definitely coming to the DC Universe with this new episode 4 teaser.

Here’s the actual synopsis for Titans Episode 4

“Gar brings Rachel home to his “family” – a group of misfit medical experiments we’ll come to know as The Doom Patrol (including Robotman, Negative Man and Elastigirl).”

So what’s the deal?

Doom Patrol is a series that will be released next year on DC Universe and to be able to introduce these characters (who I dub Proto X-Men), they need to appear on a strong show like Titans. In this episode we get to see Kory confronting Dick Grayson about his anger issues aka “Fuck Batman”. We also get to see a bit of tension between Beast Boy aka Gar and his “mom” Rita Farr aka Elasti-Woman.

Get this though, the Doom Patrol cast members who make an appearance here won’t be the same people who will be starring in the solo Doom Patrol TV series next year.

When the new TV series starts next year we have:

Timothy Dalton as Niles Caulder
