First Look at DC Universe’s Doom Patrol including Negative Man and Elastigirl

The spinoff series for DC Universe’s Titans series, Doom Patrol, has begun production and we have our first look at weird superhero team themselves.

The set photos feature most of the main characters for the Doom Patrol TV series namely.

Negative Man

Elasti-Girl

Robot Man

Crazy Jane

Diane Guerrero as Crazy Jane, April Bowlby as Elasti-Girl, Dwain Murphy as Negative Man, and Riley Shanahan as Robot Man.

News broke out last week that Brendan Frasier would be playing Robot Man and its still true. According to reports “The Mummy” actor would play the character in flashbacks as well as do voicework.

Doom Patrol was created in June 1963 and first appeared in My Greatest Adventures # 80. This superteam was created by writers Arnold Drake and Bob Haney with artist Bruno Premiani.

The team had undergone several changes and revamps with the one constant figure being Robot Man.

Doom Patrol is a reimagining of one of DC’s strangest group of outcasts: Robotman (Fraser), Negative Man, Elasti-Woman (April Bowlby) and Crazy Jane (Diane Guerrero). Led by the mysterious Caulder, they’re called into action by the ultimate hero for the digital age, Cyborg (Joivan Wade). Banding together, these rejects find themselves on a mission that will take them to the weirdest and most unexpected corners of the DC Universe.

The series is slated for release sometime in 2019
