Global tech leader EPSON joins 4th Retail Technology and Innovation Summit Asia!
Pasig City, May 16, 2018 — Epson showcases its innovative retail solutions as it joins the 4th Retail Technology and Innovation Summit Asia held recently at the City of Dream Manila in Parañaque City.
Organized by Escom Events, the event gathered stakeholders, decision makers, thought leaders, and disruptors from the hospitality industry to share their expertise and valuable experiences in utilizing the latest trends and innovations to stay competitive in the ever-changing digital economy.
According to Maria Lourdes Yaptinchay, director of Sector Planning Bureau of Department of Trade and Industry and one of the speakers during the event, the country’s retail sector sets to be more dynamic and is poised for further growth in the coming years. This development is driven by several factors, such as the increased consumer spending due to the decrease in unemployment rate, the growth of demand due to the onset of organized retail, and the proliferation of omnichannel business approach.
The challenge now, however, is for retailers to address the demands of the country’s young consumers.
