Jake Gylenhaal as Mysterio, Michael Keaton as Vulture for Spider-Man: Homecoming Sequel

Reports have started flooding in regarding the Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel with two names popping up.

The new reports suggest that the villain from the first movie, Michael Keaton aka Adrian Toomes aka The Vulture.

Of course we all loved his appearance in the movie and how he ended in the movie. Gives us a pretty clear idea that Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios has more plans for the character. And hey it could also open the return of Liz Allen who left Peter Parker’s life in the ending of the film.

I loved the look they gave Toomes in the MCU Spidey movie and I would be a very happy fanboy if they gave him his old suit back if ever he actually does return for the sequel.

Another rumor/ news that surfaced regarding the Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel involves Academy Award winner Jake Gylenhaal..

Reports suggest that Jake Gylenhaal is currently being considered to play the role of Mysterio, the fish bowl villain and effects master that turned to a life of crime.

In recent memory, Mysterio was also the proponent in the meeting between Peter Parker and Miles Morales in Brian Michael Bendis’ Spider-Men.

Lets all see how this will pan out. But at this point we really, really need Vulture back. He’s such a damn good villain.
