New Poster for Marvel’s Cloak and Dagger

Check out this new Cloak and Dagger poster featuring Tandy and Tyrone, the TV version of the classic vigilante duo who gets their new series via Freeform.

The poster features closeup shots of Cloak (Tyrone Johnson) and Dagger (Olivia Holt) next to that stylish logo and gives the faintest impression of their power set. You can see an aura of light around her face, giving a nod to her powers of living light and light daggers, while Cloak’s aura gives a nod to the darkforce energy that he wields.

The pair debuted in comics in Peter Parker: Spider-Man where they got even after being injected with drugs by dealer Simon Marshall. Together with Spider-Man, they took down the operation and saving lives in the process.

Since then they have played significant roles in both Spider-Man and X-Men storylines including Utopia and Spider Island.

Even for the Avengers book, they also made a huge impact. Cloak saved both Captain America and Iron Man’s team from being locked in the Negative Zone in Civil War.

Dagger on the other hand helped save NYC by being a temporary light source while the place was trapped in a Darkforce bubble during Secret Empire.
