PUBG SEA Championships Names ASUS ROG as Official Hardware Brand
It’s official! PlayerUnknown’s Battleground SouthEast Asia Competition has named ASUS ROG (Republic of Gamers) as their official hardware and laptop brand partner!
With the help of ASUS and ASUS ROG laptops as well as other gaming hardware like motherboards, graphics cards, monitors, routers and peripherals, the PUBG SEA Competition aims to bring out the best of each competitor.
This new and exciting competition will commence this May, with the winning squad being flown all the way to Berlin in July 2018 for the PUBG Global Invitation. This tournament is no pushover too as it has THE BIGGEST prize pool for any known PUBG event with a whopping $2 million in total.
Back in the good ol’ PH,the Philippine Country Finals is also fast approaching with the event happening at the SM North EDSA Skydome on June 9-10. On top of the event cash prize, ROG will give the top squad of the country four ROG PC sets worth P500,000.00 to continue their winning journey to the world finals.

MANILA, Philippines, 27 April 2018 — ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) today announced that ROG is the official hardware partner of 2018’s biggest eSports Competition in Southeast Asia, the PLAYERUNKNOWN’S BATTLEGROUND SEA Championship. ROG is set to dominate the battlegrounds in this year’s official global gaming tournament for the famed 100-player battle royale shooter game. With this competition, gamers will have a chance to represent their country and region in the first PUBG Global Invitational, to be held in Berlin, Germany in July 2018, with a total prize pool of $2 million.
In the Philippines, a series of elimination matches will happen in key Mineski iCafe locations to determine which squads will make it to the National Finals, to be held in the SM North EDSA Sky Dome on 9-10th of June.
