Toys R Us PH Mistakenly Sell 90s Cable Wave by Mistake

Here’s a story you don’t hear everyday. Toys R Us stores in the Philippines (or at least the ones in Metro Manila anyway) made a boo-boo by releasing the 90s Cable wave of Marvel Legends figures from Hasbro.

According to several sources, the figures were not even supposed to reach toy shelves. They were scheduled for release April 2018 according to the distributors.

Now I am going to warrant a guess that there was something wrong with the instructions given to the warehouse and I have a feeling they were planning to release the Black Panther movie wave of Marvel Legends figures.

So yeah, it was a mistake but it also feeds into collector demand. I wont be surprised to see some of the action figures from this wave fetching a high price on ebay or even in local groups.

At least this lessens the demand for other Marvel Legends figures like 90s Cyclops which is ridiculously priced as of this post.
