Stan Lee is Coming to the Philippines for Comic Con Asia! Nuff Said
Yesterday, during the Comic Con Asia 2018 launch, we finally get some confirmation that Stan Lee will be coming to the Philippines as a featured guest this coming March 24 and 25.
And take note, it’s not just going to be a Skype call or something like that. The dude will be coming here to the Philippines as an actual guest.
About Stan Lee
Born Stanley Martin Lieber in December 28, 1922. Together with several artists, Lee had co-created such classic superheroes such as Spider-Man (with Steve Ditko), the Hulk, Doctor Strange, the Fantastic Four (with Jack Kirby), the X-Men, the Avengers, Thor and Black Panther.
In 1994, Lee was inducted into the Will Eisner Award Hall of Fame. The following year, in 1995 he was inducted into the Jack Kirby Hall of Fame. Finally, in 2008, he was awarded the National Medal of Arts.
The dude’s made an appearance in almost ALL Marvel movies to date with his last being in Thor: Ragnarok where he played the crazy old man who cut Thor’s hair the moment he arrived in the planet Sakaar.
In James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, it was also heavily implied that Stan the Man was a member of the ancient beings known as The Watchers.
If you are interested in seeing Stan Lee or at least step on the same ground he’s walking on, then I suggest you go get your tickets for Comic Con Manila 2018 happening March 24 to March 25 at the SMX Convention Center in SM Mall of Asia.
