Funko Introduces New HERO WORLD Line Exclusive for Target featuring Power Rangers, Justice League and More

Funko is setting their sights on the 4 inch toy market with the release of a new line call Hero World featuring a slew of fan-favorite licenses including Justice League, Power Rangers, Scooby Doo and more!

Here’s the official press release:

Funko is excited to introduce its newest vinyl collectible figures – HeroWorld! Exclusive to Target and Target.com, HeroWorld includes various worlds and features your favorite heroes from DC Comics, Five Nights at Freddy’s, Teen Titans Go!, Power Rangers, and Scooby-Doo!

HeroWorld 4” vinyl figures will make the perfect addition to your collection. For fans and collectors of all ages, you can find HeroWorld figures as part of both 5-packs and additional 2-pack sets of characters to expand your roster of heroes. Look for HeroWorld at Target stores and Target.com this week!

And they weren’t lying when they said they would have a lot of figures from the onset check out the stuff they have below.

Teen Titans Go

Hey, at least from the start we already have a Batman and a Nightwing figure! Unfair though that they packaged Starfire separately opting to pair her up with her sister Blackfire.

Power Rangers

Wow. This one’s just perfect. The big set features the five Power Rangers while the two 2-packs features the Green Ranger and the Dragonzord and the White Ranger and the Tiger Zord. All we need is the Megazord and we’re definitely good to go.

Scooby Doo

Only two sets for the Scooby Doo Hero World figures. The 5-pack features Fred, Velma, Daphne, Scooby and Shaggy (with his sandwich). The second set is a 2-pack featuring two of the more memorable ghoulies from the series.

Five Nights at Freddy’s

Wow! They really milked the franchise here. There’s the original cast from the first ‘Five Nights’ game and then we get two additional packs featuring more characters.

Justice League

Oh this one I love. Sadly they ditched Martian Manhunter or Cyborg and Green Lantern Hal Jordan from the initial lineup. Then they didn’t put in any of those characters in the separate boxset. Instead we get Hawkman and Hawkgirl. Boo.

So while I have gripes here and there regarding Hero World, I still think this has a lot of promise. Funko definitely knows what they want and how they want to do it. Here’s to hoping we actually get to see these Hero World figures locally.
