Samoa Joe Injured on RAW, Elias Replacing him as Bayley’s Partner for Mixed Tag Team
It looks like it’ll take a little while before we see Samoa Joe back in action as the WWE Superstar suffered a legitimate foot injury while doing this week’s episode of RAW.

Here’s the official statement from WWE.com
During his match, [Samoa Joe] felt a pop at the bottom of his [right] foot,” explained WWE Senior Ringside Physician Dr. Chris Amann. “We took a look and believe he has a plantar fascia rupture, which is a thick tissue rupture under the foot. We will get an MRI to confirm. Treatment includes a period of immobilization in a boot with crutches and platelet rich plasma injections.
Around the same time WWE RAW General Manager Kurt Angle shared Samoa Joe’s statue on his Twitter account.

The bad thing about the “Legitimate injury” is the fact that Joe and John Cena were already getting ready to start a feud that could end up all the way to this year’s Wrestlemania. There’s still hope though for the two to clash as Joe’s been confirmed to voice Predaking in the new Transformers animated feature. Meanwhile, John Cena is doing a Transformers movie, particularly the solo Bumblebee movie.
