More Photos from X-Men: Dark Phoenix Featuring Jean Grey and Jessica Chastain’s Character

The other day Entertainment Weekly rocked the world with the release of their X-Men: Dark Phoenix cover featuring Sophie Turner’s Jean Grey in a fiery pose. Well today, we stumble on a couple more photos from that issue of EW.

The first photo from Entertainment Weekly features Sophie Turner’s Jean Grey with her back against the wall and getting wet in the rain. She appears to be in a metallic corridor or probably in a scrapyard somewhere.

The second photo from EW’s current issue features our first look at a very non-Lilandra Jessica Chastain.

I dunno but from what it looks like she’s surveying a damaged home. It could be the Xavier Institute or it could be somewhere else. As I mentioned, she doesn’t look anything like Lilandra Neramani, the Shi’ar Majestrix who also happens to become Charles Xavier’s future wife. It’s also been revealed in the article that EW released online that Chastain’s character had witnessed the power of the Phoenix in the past and can shapeshift.

X-Men: Dark Phoenix is directed Simon Kinberg and stars Jennifer Lawrence, James McAvoy, Nicolas Hoult, Michael Fassbender, Alexandra Shipp, Sophie Turner and a whole lot more.
