It was bound to happen that after the announcement of Phoenix Resurrection: The Return of Jean Grey, Marvel would be releasing Phoenix variant covers. Today we look at the first 10 Phoenix variant covers for Marvel books coming out in December!

While a whole month’s worth of covers dedicated to a specific time isn’t new to Marvel, doing covers featuring the titular characters with Phoenix-inspired looks is something new. That’s what’s hyping this December release and that’s what’s generating positive buzz. The content of each book however is a separate thing.
