Transformers Animated Movie in the Works
It has been an awfully long time since we saw a Transformers animated movie in theaters. The last time we did, it had Unicron and Optimus Prime died. Now it looks like Hasbro has confirmed a new Transformers movie in animated form and its about to begin production soon.

And while we all party in the streets with bit of news, I have to stop myself from joining in the celebrations because there is a bit of bad news.
The bad news? The movie will be set in the Bay-verse and not in the original canon universe like from the 80s.
This would mean weird robot dynamics, Optimus Prime sounding more and more like a killer Decepticon and animated Cade Yaeger aka Marky Mark Wahlberg.
But hey, at least there’s no chance in hell Bayverse Hot Rod becomes the bearer of the Matrix of Leadership because there’s none in that universe.
Whether this is a good thing or a bad thing, I leave that to you.
