Not Again! Pacific Rim Uprising Delayed Again
It looks like we can’t have good things. Reports are coming in that the sequel to Pacific Rim, Pacific Rim Uprising has been delayed.
That’s in the States at least. ‘Uprising’ was originally going to be released on February 23, 2018 but has been pushed a month later to March 23rd.
Many worry that this would put the film in a tough place as there are other “summer blockbusters” lined up around the same opening week including Robin Hood from Lionsgate and a week later, Ready Player One from Warner Bros. Pictures. Still with the demand for the new project and pretty positive responses to the teaser trailer, its not hard to the monster-mashing flick get good ticket sales.
Pacific Rim: Uprising stars John Boyega, Charlie Day, Burn Gorman, Mako Mori, Scott Eastwood, Cailee Spaeny, Jing Tian, Levi Meaden, Adria Arjona, Rahart Adams. Karan Brar, Nick E. Tarabay, Ivanna Sakhno, Zhang Jin, Mackenyu, Shyrley Rodriguez, Wesley Wong, Lily Ji, Chen Zitong, Lan Yingying, and Qian Yongchen.
