SDCC 2017 – Aquaman Teaser Description
One DCEU movie that kinda went under the radar thanks to the release of the new Justice League trailer during SDCC 2017 was Aquaman. They apparently unveiled a new Aquaman teaser which is the subject of this post.
Momoa appeared in this year’s Comic Con panel brandishing Aquaman’s trident, a somewhat staple now in branding the DCU’s king of the seas.
Here’s how the former Game of Thrones star appeared on stage:

So far we know that the Aquaman movie is currently in principal photography with director James Wan and that there are tons of new shots featuring Amber Heard as Mera that surfaced weeks ago. Then there’s also some new additions to the cast.
But more importantly, they actually showed the Aquaman teaser trailer at Comic Con this year and while that didn’t get the follow-up video online, there are a lot of different websites that share what they saw. So here goes, the Aquaman Teaser Description from SDCC 2017.
It begins on the ocean with two old fishermen. They’re listening to the radio and suddenly it looks like they have a bite. But it’s not a fish. It’s something big moving under them. The camera pulls back and we see that there are enormous underwater ships moving beneath the tiny fishing boat. One of them even has a shark fin that sticks out of the water. The fishermen are speechless.
The camera goes under the water and we see that there are HUNDREDS of ships and armored men riding sharks.
The scene cuts to Aquaman himself, standing with his trident.
“You don’t want to maybe talk this over?” he says to an offscreen opponent.
“Yeah,” he smiles. “Me neither.”
What do you guys think of this? Are you excited for Aquaman?
