Adi Shankar Wants to Produce an Assassin’s Creed Animated Series

Producer, YouTuber and gamer Adi Shankar has confirmed that there are plans to create an Assassin’s Creed animated series and that he badly wants to be a part of the creating team.

Shankar is currently busy doing the Castlevania animated series which will be released in Netflix tomorrow, July 7. While we don’t have much details to go by for the series we know that its stylized and looks cool.

The confirmation was given via a recent interview Adi Shankar had with Gamespot. While there are barely any solid details about the project, the producers seems very confident with his abilities to helm such an enticing franchise. He says:

I played the first edition of Assassin’s Creed the year I moved to Los Angeles,” he added. “At that moment, I knew absolutely no one in the industry and could never have imagined that one day, Ubisoft would ask me to take the world of Assassin’s Creed and create an original anime story set in it as an anime series.

The verdict’s not out yet but IF Castlevania is good, then we may have our hands on top-tier video games making the transition to animated series. The last one that’s action oriented that I really really liked was Devil May Cry and that was years ago. Hopefully they get the same quality or even surpass that.
