Bandai Namco gets to dip their hands into 2D fighting once more with Dragon Ball. As announced during E3, the game will have a closed beta before the end of the Summer in the US. After the beta, they’ll start releasing more information about the game.
Just like all the other games under Arc System Works, Dragon Ball FighterZ will have 3 versus 3 battles featuring a huge brunt of the characters from Dragon Ball Z. During the reveal we get to see the more popular ones like Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Frieza, Majin Buu and Cell.
Bandai Namco’s VP of Marketing Eric Hartness has this to say about the game:
Arc System Works brings a pedigree and record of quality that fighting game fans can trust; with awesome visuals players might mistake as actual 2D animation from the famed Dragon Ball series
Dragon Ball FighterZ is scheduled for release Summer of 2018 from Bandai Namco for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One.
