Ubisoft has released new details and a new trailer for the next Far Cry game Far Cry 5 and we’ve got rednecks in this game.
Actually, the theme for the fifth Far Cry is mostly about zealotry and its roots to the cult. It’s a touchy subject especially since the game isn’t played on an island in Asia, nor in the Himalayas but rather in Middle America.
In Far Cry 5, you play the role of the Sheriff’s Deputy who conveniently arrives in Hope County, Montana around the same time the region was taken over by a cult aptly named “The Project at Eden’s Gate” led by Joseph Seed, the man they call “The Father”. Throughout the game, players are expected to help out locals in the region in organizing “The Resistance” and take out the cult.
What’s truly interesting here is how the game will make you make these choices once more that will affect the game’s ending. Nothing in terms of really fresh stuff and there’s no elephant riding business here since this is North America.
As the days progress, we’ll cover more and more about Far Cry 5 and any additional stuff that they will bring it to make gamers actually buy the game. Here’s one now before we end this post…
