Vanity Fair Gets First Dibs for Star Wars: The Last Jedi
Vanity Fair gets first crack at the Star Wars hype with four covers featuring the main characters sans droids and Chewbacca of Star Wars: The Last Jedi for their June 2017 issue.
Photos were done by Annie Leibovitz and they look stunning. That cover alone featuring Rey (Daisy Ridley) and Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) on the lonely planet of Ahch-To speaks volumes about the upcoming film directed by Rian Johnson.
We also have the dashing #TeamRebels featuring John Boyega’s Finn together with his OTP Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac) and newcomer Kelly Marie Tran’s Rose Tico together with BB-8.
For the guys over at the Dark Side of the Force and the First Order, we’ve got a mean looking Adam Driver who once again plays Kylo Ren (now with scars he got from ‘The Force Awakens’), a Gwendoline Christie without her Captain Phasma helmet and a nefarious General Huxx (Domhnall Gleason).
Rounding off the set is a very solemn cover featuring the late Carrie Fisher, in character as Leia Organa Solo.
