Build Your Own Baby Groot Shoulder Puppet
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 will blow your minds away when you finally see it next week. And since I am beholden to the film embargo and can’t publish the review yet, I need to find other GOTG-related stuff to post. Luckily Caleb Kraft posted instructions on how to make a DIY Baby Groot shoulder puppet.
It’s kind of tricky to make and will require you to download a printout of Baby Groot which is the most integral part of the Baby Groot shoulder puppet.
“The basic principle works the same no matter what you’re using as the body of your shoulder puppet,” Kraft wrote on the Make blog. “A single cable is fed through the puppet and attached to the head. The neck is reduced to a single point that can flex and twist. As you push, pull, and twist the cable, the head moves.”
It’s such a really cool and interesting thing to do and I REALLY suggest you try this out and wear the finished product when you catch Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 on April 26.
