Asus Brings in the ROG GX800 to the Philippines for Php 369,995

Asus brings the next level of gaming to Manila with the launch of their baddest, meanest gaming laptop in the form of the ROG GX800.

The GX800 was first announced during Computex 2016 where it had wowwed the audience and even critics with the hardware they put into the laptop.

The laptop is a beast that it even ships with its own trolley for when you travel and you still want to play current games in 4K resolution including games like Overwatch. The last ROG I drooled over came with a backpack so for the GX800 to come with a trolley, you know Asus means business.

And the price tag on this bad boy? Php 369,995. So before you go “that’s expensive” you have to consider the specs on the product. The ROG GX800 from Asus comes packed with the following specs:

Operating system: Windows 10
Processor: Intel Core i7-7820HK processor 2.7 GHz (8M Cache, up to 3.6 GHz)
Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1080 SLI with 16GB GDDR5X VRAM
Memory: 64GB DDR4 RAM
Storage: 3 512GB PCIE Gen3 x4 SSD
Display: 18.4″ UHD (3840×2160 pixels) resolution

I have to agree though that this gaming laptop is heavy. But for such a majestic piece of gaming hardware, there has to be a payoff and weight, well, that just had to pay the devil’s due. Other stuff that comes with the GX800 are the mechanical keyboard and a Hydro Overclocking system, aimed to make the load of dishing out ultra fin graphics.

I’m waiting to test out the ROG GX800 so “hi Asus”. Oh and I also had fun during the media event with their media-only Overwatch matches. I’m sure these fellows had fun too.
