Alex Ross Shares New Marvel Artwork with the Caption Generations

What’s next for artist extraordinaire Alex Ross? Looks like he’ll either be doing interiors or provide cover for another Marvel project called Generations and its massive and so much of an eye candy.

What’s this about? I don’t know. It could be anything to be honest. That summer of 2017 sting could mean that this is the next “event” book after Secret Empire. Or it could be a new look back project. But knowing Marvel, we’re probably looking at their next story line. Looks great and all and I will certainly buy the book if or when it comes out. But honestly, I’m tired of Marvel milking stuff solely from event books and their tie-ins.

Anyway before it becomes something entirely else, its nice to see that the X-Men get noticed again. And that the Inhumans are nowhere in this photo with the exception of the new Ms. Marvel aka Kamala Khan who is the legacy character for Carol Danvers who now goes by Captain Marvel.

If you ask me, this could be one of those comic book tropes where the heroes call on the help of their next generation counterparts to fight either a new Marvel villain or an old villain that gets massive upgrades on the powers department.

What do you think dear readers? Are you hyped for this? Will you buy this solely because of Alex Ross or are you getting this because you’re hoping Marvel churns out comic book gold again?
