Deathstroke Engages the Titans and Teen Titans in LAZARUS CONTRACT Crossover

Nice to know that DC Comics is slowly ungluing all the mess that the New 52 has made via DC Rebirth. Another upcoming crossover deals with the rich history between the Deathstroke and the Teen Titans as well as the grown up Titans via The Lazarus Contract.

So what makes Deathstroke target the Teen Titans and the Titans? Apparently he wants to resurrect his son Grant Wilson aka the first Ravager and to do this he needs Bart Allen aka Kid Flash.

It’s also interesting to note that the story is called the Lazarus Contract which could be more than just a callback to the classic storyline The Judas Contract which also featured Slade Wilson taking down the Teen Titans via betrayal of the team’s newest member, Terra.

And the fact that they used the term “Lazarus” could pretty much confirm that long-time Batman enemy Ras Al Ghul is involved. Plus its only him who could revive dead people.

The four-part event will focus on Deathstroke attempting to resurrect his son Grant, the original Ravager, by hunting Titan member Wally West. With Wally’s connection to the pre-New 52 DC Universe there is potential for larger secrets surrounding his return to be answered. “The Lazarus Contract” will be written by Dan Abnett, Benjamin Percy, and Christopher Priest, with art by Brett Booth, Khoi Pham, Carlo Pagulayan, and Paul Pelletier.
