Godzilla: King of Monsters Adds Stranger Things’ Millie Bobby Brown
Stranger Things has become such a huge hit that one of its main cast, Millie Bobby Brown, has already been tapped to join the upcoming Godzilla sequel, Godzilla: King of Monsters.
The casting came straight from Godzilla 2’s production studio, Legendary Studios. Unfortunately the company did not reveal who Brown would be playing.
The Godzilla franchise has gone through a lot in the three years that it had been released. A new director replacing Gareth Edwards (Rogue One) has been announced. Director Zach Shields takes over not only the director’s chair but also writing duties which he will be sharing with ‘Krampus’ helmer Michael Dougherty.
Legendary has also announced plans for a shared universe for both the Godzilla franchise AND the King Kong franchise which will release its first movie, KONG: SKULL ISLAND starring Tom Hiddleston and Brie Larson.
Meanwhile, Brown will also be returning to the set of Stranger Things season 2 which will be airing this year.
