###
LETTY RAINES (played by Michelle Dockery)
Recently released from prison for good behavior, con artist and thief Letty Raines looks like everything every woman wants to be: smart, confident, beautiful, funny. In truth, every second is a battle against herself to stay above water and out of trouble while she builds a new life.
JAVIER PEREIRA (played by Juan Diego Botto)
Meticulous, calculated and guarded, Javier is an assassin with a professional code he doesn’t violate. No one would expect this handsome man with kind eyes to be a killer, but he’s very good at what he does and never makes mistakes…until he meets Letty.
CHRISTIAN WOODHILL (played by Terry Kinney)
Letty’s parole officer, Christian, can relate to her like no one else can, because he’s been there. Christian never dreamed of being a parole officer, but like Letty, his solid mistakes got him here. He sees in Letty a good, smart person and often lets this cloud his judgment when trying to rein her in.
ESTELLE RAINES (played by Lusia Strus)
Letty’s mother, Estelle, had Letty when she was a teenager and has never quite forgiven the world for putting her in that position. Her morals are loose, but they are morals nonetheless. Estelle screwed up with Letty and sees her guardianship of Letty’s son, Jacob, as a chance for a do-over. She has a good heart but sometimes lacks the tact to express it as such.
JACOB RAINES (played by Nyles Julian Steele)
Letty’s son, Jacob, has been in the custody of his grandmother since Letty’s first extended stay in prison. Jacob loves his mom, but doesn’t know her all that well. He is comfortable in the routine and safety of his life with Estelle, all of which is about to come undone.
