All Out War in New Trailer for Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV

It’s all out war in the new trailer for Square Enix’s upcoming CG movie Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV which also features the voices of Sean Bean, Lena Headey and Aaron Paul.

Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV is scheduled for a release in North America starting August 19 with a digital release on August 30. Believe it or not even Playstation video will carry the movie when its released digitally. The film will then ship on Blu-ray Disc and DVD on October 4.

The film opened in Japan on July 9, and the Blu-ray Disc in Japan will ship on September 30, the same day Final Fantasy XV ships worldwide.

Kingsglaive Final Fantasy XV takes place around the same time that the Final Fantasy XV game which will be available this September. The main characters in this film include King Regis (Sean Bean) who tries to keep his kingdom intact…

He works together with the Kingsglaive troops led by Nyx (Aaron Paul)

… and Lunafrey (Lena Headey)

Final Fantasy XV director Hajime Tabata produced the film. Takeshi Nozue (Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children co-director, co-producer) directed the film, and Takashi Hasegawa (1999 GTO film, Crows Explode) wrote the script. John Graham composed the music, and Yoko Shimomura (who is composing the music for the game) composed the main theme.
