Alden…. Cast as the New Han Solo
Alden has been cast as the young Han Solo…
No we’re not talking about one half of the AlDub pairing, Alden Richards…
We’re talking about this rogue-ish looking guy, Alden Ehrenreich.
He will be playing a younger Han Solo for a movie which will feature him going on no-good adventures across a galaxy far, far away.

Ehrenreich, which sounds very, very German, will work together with THE LEGO MOVIE directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller. Interestingly enough, its been reported that the actor was the very first actor to audition for the role which eventually had as much as 3,000 actors all wishing they shot Greedo first.
Even better is the dude actually auditioned and screentested with Chewbacca AND the Millennium Falcon around. How cool is that?
Other films the new Han Solo appeared in include Blue Jasmine, Stoker, Beautiful Creatures and Hail, Caesar.
The untitled Han Solo solo movie will begin filming as early as January or February of 2017 with a release date of either 2018 or 2019.
