Gigantic news from our wrestling front, former 3-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns has been suspended for 30 days for a first time violation of the WWE’s Wellness Policy.

This is big considering Reigns is the handpicked guy to be the face of the company. This could also explain why he lost clean to Seth Rollins at Money in the Bank.

What Now?

It’s also worth noting that around the same time during fellow Shield teammate Seth Rollins’ reign as champion, he was also blasted with a nude-selfie controversy prompting him to make a public apology on social media, particularly Twitter.

Now that we do have a new WWE champion in the form of “Dirty” Dean Ambrose, would there be some similar shenanigans happening?

This could also mean that the long-awaited “The Shield” reunion will be delayed for a little while longer. Perhaps this could be good as WWE creative could fine tune the storyline featuring the three former “hounds of justice”.
