Here’s a Look at the Teen Titans for DC Rebirth

Excited for the upcoming DC Rebirth? Wanting to see what the other teams/ characters would look like in the new “universe”? Well, here’s our first look at the Teen Titans that’ll appear in the new series.

Robin

There’s barely any chance to his New 52 costume to be honest, just some minor tweaks here and there. Hey, remember, don’t fix what’s not broken.

Starfire

This is a departure from her last New 52 appearance in her solo book. I miss the risque version but this isn’t quite it. Still good because we don’t want to alienate the younglings right?

Beast Boy

Getting rid of his connection to Swamp Thing is a good thing tbh. We have a green Beast Boy once again and while he still kinda looks like a werewolf, its dialed down a bit.

Raven

Raven’s costume change is sorely needed. I didn’t like the New 52 version which made her look like a giant tweety bird minus the yellow. The classic didn’t hurt so I was scratching my head when I saw her in the New 52-verse. I’m hoping we also get to see her classic powers return, like what we’ve seen in ye old Geoff Johns’ Teen Titans.

I’m not so sure how I actually feel about African-American Wally West. I haven’t read a single issue of The Flash for quite some time now because it was so different from what I was hoping for. Still props to DC Comics and Jonboy Meyers for making it as Pre-New 52 as possible.

Also huzzah for the return of the real Wally West.

There you have it, our look at the starting team for Teen Titans for DC’s DC Rebirth reboot. I enjoyed doing a critique on these “new” looks for the Titans and I can’t wait to welcome them back when DC starts publishing the book again.
