Fairy Tail Meets Civil War by Hiro Mashima as a Promotional

Fairy Tail‘s Hiro Mashima does a pretty interesting take on Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War featuring Iron Man and Captain America.

Mashima is a big Western superhero genre comic book fan. According to an interview which came out of ANN, the Fairy Tail mangaka jumped at the opportunity to legally draw Steve Rogers and Tony Stark duking it out.

Fans of both properties also got a treat when the film opened in Japan with a special print featuring the characters of Fairy Tail doing the Civil War poster posing.

Another fellow we need to thank is C.B. Cebulski who has migrated to China to strengthen Marvel’s talent development in Asia. Without him touching base with Mashima, we wouldn’t even have this print.
