CBR releases four page unlettered preview for Captain America: Steve Rogers # 1 by Nick Spencer and Jesus Saiz.

Marvel went with a full interview for the upcoming release of Captain America: Steve Rogers which will be penned by Nick Spencer with art by Jesus Saiz. CBR even went with posting four unlettered pages for the new ongoing book starring Rogers who is now back to his prime physique after the events of Avengers Standoff.

It’s also pretty bothering with domestic abuse, particularly between Steve’s parents back in the day.

Or maybe we’re just jumping into conclusions and this is not actually Steve but another character’s history. Also who is this gal and what’s the significance of the color red?

Also is the old woman Sharon Carter? Was that really the effect she got from being trapped in Dimension Z? Oh god please don’t do that to her. Or I wish they’d just gave Cap and Sharon some moment of peace in their advanced state.

We also get a peak at Baron Zemo and Erik Selvig who we last saw towards the end of Standoff. Obviously this should be a good fight between the two.

Gotta hand it to Marvel, they picked the right artist for the job as Saiz’s art works extremely well with Captain America: Steve Rogers as well as it’s themes.
