Marvel’s Doctor Strange Unveils First Trailer

Now let’s talk about the freshly released trailer for Marvel’s Doctor Strange starring Benedict Cumberbatch.

Earlier today, we got a teaser poster with Cumberbatch’s Stephen Strange’s back looking at the Sanctum Sanctorum’s windowpane.

Now it seems like we have a full poster for the Marvel’s Doctor Strange with Cumberbatch front and center.

For that we have to thank the official Doctor Strange Twitter account.

But more than that the trailer was “different” with its approach. It didn’t feel like a comicbook movie, nor did it have this “grand” superhero feel. This had more of those magic-theme movies, those Guillermo Del Torro, Pan’s Labyrinth vibe to it but more importantly, they have astral forms…

Will find the time to analyse the major parts of this trailer or comment on one stuff or another. Marvel’s Doctor Strange opens November here in the Philippines and is directed by Scott Derrickson. It stars Benedict Cumberbatch, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Tilda Swinton, Rachel McAdams and Mads Mikkelsen.
