Should We Expect Wolverine as a Horseman of Apocalypse in X-Men: Apocalypse
Burning question right now, being that this is going to be the last installment in the current X-Men trilogy, will Wolverine appear in Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Apocalypse, particularly as a replacement Horseman?
HeroicHollywood.com suggests that the answer to the question is yes. According to the rumor site, fans should expect to see Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine as Apocalypse’s replacement horseman somewhere in the middle of the movie.
So where did they get this from? Apparently 20th Century Fox will hold a special press conference for CinemaCon where Chairman and CEO Jim Gianopulos will make several announcements and will release a new trailer for X-Men: Apocalypse with the aforementioned special character’s appearance.
Again I would have to refer you to HH’s post for more details and a video of dear old Umberto talking about other details.
For the record it was never mentioned if Wolverine will be appearing as a good guy or a bad guy. It’s just secondary rumors that he takes over as the Horseman of Death mainly because a horseman defects from Apocalypse’s team and joins the X-Men. Could it be Archangel? Could it be Magneto?? Psylocke??? Storm????
I hope the Horseman connection is true however because it would be cool to see Jackman wear something like this…
Since the dawn of civilization, he was worshiped as a god. Apocalypse, the first and most powerful mutant from Marvel’s X-Men universe, amassed the powers of many other mutants, becoming immortal and invincible. Upon awakening after thousands of years, he is disillusioned with the world as he finds it and recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign. As the fate of the Earth hangs in the balance, Raven (Jennifer Lawrence) with the help ofProfessor X (James McAvoy) must lead a team of young X-Men to stop their greatest nemesis and save mankind from complete destruction.”
X-Men: Apocalypse also stars James McAvoy as Charles Xaver, Jennifer Lawrence as Mystique, Nicholas Hoult as Beast, Rose Byrne as Moira MacTaggert, Lucas Till as Havok and newcomers Alexandra Shipp as Storm, Sophie Turner as Jean Grey, Ben Hardy as Angel, Tye Sheridan as Cyclops, Olivia Munn as Psylocke and Lana Condor as Jubilee. Oscar Isaac is starring as the film’s title antagonist.
X-Men: Apocalypse drops in theaters on May 27, 2016
